The rules governing access to this site and the use of what it publishes. They gather in one place what the pages state as you read them.

Purpose and standing
DFIN Journal is a neutral data publisher. It records what institutional issuers publish, timestamps it, and links it to the document it came from. It is not a financial adviser, a broker, a rating agency, or a news organisation. Accessing the site constitutes acceptance of these terms.
No investment advice
Nothing on this site is investment advice, a solicitation, an offer, or an inducement to acquire, dispose of, or hold any financial instrument. No content is tailored to any particular reader's circumstances. Any decision taken after reading this site is the sole responsibility of the person taking it, where appropriate after the opinion of a qualified professional.
No warranty of accuracy or completeness
The site is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. Neither the accuracy, nor the completeness, nor the currency of what is published is warranted. A capture may miss a publication, record it late, or carry an error originating from the source itself.
The original document prevails
Where a page of this site and the issuer's document diverge, the issuer's document prevails. Its link appears on every entry and is the only citable reference. A page of this site never replaces reading that document.
Summaries written by a model
Summaries are produced by a language model, labelled as such, and shown with the name of the model that wrote them. They may contain errors, omissions, or misreadings, despite the automatic check applied before storage. They do not bind the issuer of the document, who neither wrote nor reviewed them.
Links to third-party sites
Outbound links lead to sites that DFIN neither operates nor controls. Their content, their availability, and their own terms are matters for their operators. The presence of a link implies no endorsement, no warranty, and no association.
Intellectual property
Headlines, documents, and trade marks belong to their issuers and appear here by way of quotation, together with whatever notice each issuer requires. Summaries, classification, and layout are DFIN's own work. Any reuse requires crediting DFIN and keeping the link to the original document.
Availability of the service
The service may be interrupted, altered, or discontinued at any time, without notice and without compensation. No continuity is guaranteed. Nothing published here is intended to feed a critical automated use.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, DFIN is liable for no damage — direct or indirect, material or immaterial — arising from access to the site, from its unavailability, from an error or omission in its content, or from a decision taken after reading it; this covers in particular financial losses, loss of data, and loss of profit. Since some exclusions are admitted by no national law, this limitation applies as far as the law allows, and does not affect cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Personal data
The site offers no account, no form, and no personal area, and sets no advertising tracker. It collects no personal data of its own. The theme preference is kept in the reader's browser and is sent to no one.
Collection rules
Feeds are read every fifteen minutes, in series, with a declared user agent. No document body is retained: it passes through processing, serves to produce a summary, and then disappears. A source is queried only once its reuse terms have been recorded in a register kept separately.
Why some entries carry no summary
Summarising takes two distinct things: the right to do it and the means to do it. An issuer's terms may forbid reproducing its text; elsewhere, the page simply does not serve its content for download. Without a summary, the entry stays published with its headline, its link, and the reason for the absence.
What is quoted and what is written
Headlines are reproduced verbatim, never translated and never rewritten: an altered quotation stops being a quotation. Topic classification comes from the issuer-feed pair declared in the catalogue, never from analysing the text. The list of issuers followed is not exhaustive.
Ordering of entries, and absence of publication
Entries are ordered by the publication date declared by the issuer, never by the date of capture. A period with no entry signals an absence of publication, not a collection failure: collection failures are logged separately and do not show on the page.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change at any time. The version that applies is the one published on this page on the date of consultation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory rules protecting consumers in their country of residence.
What this page does not say
- Titles are carried verbatim. DFIN rewrites none of them: an altered quotation stops being a quotation, and the title always stays with its issuer and its link.
- The list is not exhaustive: it covers the issuers whose reuse terms have been checked and entered in the source registry.
- Every entry leads to its issuer's document, either directly or through a summary page that gives it as the primary exit.
